The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be shown in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's boxing match.
Former twice unified title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will really want to hurt him. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Still, the novice is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the bout is really happening.
